PARENT INFORMATION - OFSTED

Ofsted at our Day Camps

Our day camps are registered with Ofsted under the EYFS, Voluntary and Compulsory childcare registers. OFSTED regularly inspects our camps and has awarded United Camps the highest grade possible!

We continually exceed the high standards set by Ofsted for childcare, and are very proud to be Ofsted registered. Please feel free to ask us questions or ask to see our registration certificate when next at camp.

Why Choose an Ofsted Registered Camp?

Choosing an Ofsted Registered camp gives parents reassurance that:

  • The camp is inspected regularly to ensure children are safe and having fun in an environment that enables them to thrive.
  • Staff are of an incredibly high calibre and suitably qualified to look after your children. Ofsted will assess our Safer Recruitment policy which encompasses thorough recruitment, training and supervision process.
  • Timetables are varied and stimulating. The Early Years Foundation Framework must be followed by all groups where children aged five and under are in attendance. Timetables for children who have not yet reached Reception age should be guided by the learning and development requirements.

As a bonus, being OFSTED registered means you have the option of paying for camps with Childcare vouchers – a scheme only available to Ofsted Registered camps!

What do our parents say?

Fantastic summer club for my 5 and 7 year olds. The children loved it and ask to go back. This is the third year we have used United Education / Camp Xplode in Leeds and would thoroughly recommend. The staff are great and go the extra mile, help deal with the challenges and nerves of it being all new and help then settle. We will be going back!
