FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CAMP

Football Club for Kids Aged 6-12

Enjoy a week of fun, skills and team work at our Football Camps

Whether you are a total football beginner or the next England superstar join us on our Football Camps. Our highly qualified football coaches deliver a program that gives everybody the opportunity to improve their football skills as well as have fun playing games and earning awesome awards.

Recommended for players involved with grassroots football, the Football Development Camp provides children with the opportunity to develop their skills in line with the FA 4 Corner model, led by our professional coaches.

Our Football Development Camp provides a safe environment for children to develop physical, psychological, tactical and social skills through workshops, practical sessions and small sided games.

Children will benefit from tailored workshops, practical sessions and small sided games to support their learning and development, whilst receiving individual player feedback and workbooks designed to track their learning.

The football camp programme has been specifically designed for children aged 8-12, using the England FA DNA framework as a guide. This means that sessions and activities that are run on camp align directly to those found on the England training ground!

At the end of the week, teams will compete against each other in a series of friendly, fun games culminating in the all-important Award Ceremony.

THE FA 4 CORNER MODEL

The FA 4 Corner Model suggests that player development needs to be looked at from a technical, physical, psychological and social point of view – and that no corner works in isolation from the others.

TECHNICAL/TACTICAL – Ball Mastery, Practice, Group Play

PSYCHOLOGICAL – Understanding, Decision Making, Confidence

PHYSICAL – Co-ordination, Conditioning, Challenge

SOCIAL – Communication, Self-esteem, Teamwork

What do our leaders say?

"I've absolutely LOVED being a Activity Leader and Early Years Leader at United Education since 2018! It's so much fun spending holidays with our little ones - I love working with children and helping them to realise their potential. Every day at camp is different, and no two children are the same. This is what makes the job so rewarding - everyday is an opportunity to learn something new. We do so many fun activities like Arts and Crafts, Forest School children's activities and messy play! It is always a joy to see the kids having so much fun while they're also learning and developing. I have a degree in Primary Education with QTS. It is great to be able to contribute my knowledge to such a passionate and talented team. I feel very lucky to be part of such a great team!"

What do our parents say?

My children have tried various holiday camps in London and other cities and United Education are definitely in the top three of all time. Really friendly staff, dedicated person for your child, fun activities, someone with them to help them with lunch, getting changed etc. I felt they were well supported and well entertained, not just chucked into a mass of kids with generic leaders, where their needs can easily be missed if the are not confident or old enough to ask.
